The Twisted Spine and the Brooklyn Horror Society are thrilled to announce the new film series, Dark Sparks: Films That Ignite Horror Authors. At each screening, an author will appear in person to introduce a film of their choosing and for a reading of their own work. We'll have signed copies of their books for sale, alongside some classic and contemporary books that provided terrifying inspiration.

C.J. Dotson possesses the statistically average number of body parts for a human being to have. She and her husband, stepson, and children (all of whom also appear human) share a cabin in the woods with more bugs than she would ever like to see. In her limited spare time she enjoys reading, video games, painting, baking and decorating cakes (with…questionable success), and petting her dog and two cats.
NIGHT OF THE CREEPS (1986): When an alien experiment goes awry, it crashes to Earth in 1959 and infects a young college student. Twenty-seven years later, his cryogenically frozen body is thawed out by fraternity pledges ... and the campus is quickly overrun by alien creatures whose victims turn into zombies!
